About Paul
How I got here
For much of my working life, I was in corporate and commercial roles. I worked across sales, relationship management, business development and services where people were often making significant decisions.
The work taught me that progress rarely comes from pressure alone. It comes from being heard, seeing the situation clearly and having enough space to make a considered choice.
Coaching grew naturally from that experience. I had spent years helping people navigate change, uncertainty, competing priorities and demanding conversations. I wanted to make that work more deliberate — and to give people the kind of thinking space that busy lives and workplaces rarely provide.
I am direct, but I do not rush people. I listen carefully, ask questions that get beneath the first answer, and notice when the conversation drifts away from what matters. We make sense of what is getting in the way, decide what is within your control and turn that understanding into practical action.
Some clients come because work has become unsustainable. Some are considering a career move or stepping into leadership. Others simply know that something needs to change but cannot yet see the route.
I live and work in the UK. I coach online, which allows me to work with private clients, leaders and organisations across different locations. Outside work, I value family, animals, music, football, good films and the kind of quiet that restores perspective.
